Short cinematic made in Unreal Engine 5. I challenged myself to create one in another style. With a virtual camera it is easy to make wild camera movements, which without some contrasting still shots can become "too much". Lighting also plays a leading role, I heavily relied on the excellent UE addon Ultra Dynamic Sky. It let me use unreal's sequencer to control exactly what speed the clouds were moving, sun position, shadow umbras and much more. The Pantheon does act as a kind of time telling device, so it felt natural to show it progress through an entire day of environment lighting. Rending the entire sequence at 4K with DLSS in only a few hours let me crank every quality setting to the max.
